HOW IT WORKS

Rear axle disconnect to improve fuel efficiency. Selec-Terrain® traction control for a steady ride in any condition. And standard Brake Lock Differential to keep you moving. The system monitors wheel slip, puts the brake on the spinning wheel, and automatically applies extra torque when you need it.

WHEN TO USE IT

Anywhere you and your Jeep® decide to go. Sand, gravel, mud, it’s all good.

HOW IT WORKS

We’ve added a 56:1 crawl ration for superior control at low speeds. Combined with the Selec-Terrain® traction system, you can take on any trail you come across. For extra efficiency the system automatically disconnects the rear axle when it’s not needed.

WHEN TO USE IT

The high range is your best friend in most conditions. When you need to go slow and steady (like rescuing a friend’s non-Jeep® 4x4 from the mud), switch to low range for a bit of extra torque at low speed.

SRT8 engineers have designed this full time 4x4 system to give you ultimate traction. The electronic proportioning system automatically sends the right amount of torque to the front and rear axles based on the road conditions. The Electronic Limited Slip Differential allows 100% of the impressive torque to go to one rear wheel. You’ll never even need to get the shovel out in tricky conditions.

HOW IT WORKS

Torque is split between the front and rear axles when you need extra traction. We’ve clamped the main case joint with 18 bolts for an almost invincible structure. For difficult terrain, the 2.72:1 ratio low range will help you conquer anything in your path.

WHEN TO USE IT

Use the high range for any road surface during your journey. The low range is great for situations where you need a boost of extra torque like rescuing a less capable vehicle from a snowdrift.
