Safety and security come first. The Cherokee models feature standard advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags, supplemental side-curtain air bags with Occupant Classification System (OCS), and roll-sensing technology for additional side-impact protection. All five passengers have shoulder restraint seat belts. A front collision the impact sensors initiate the front seat belts, helping reduce the forward momentum of occupants’ heads and torsos. Interior pillars above the beltline and instrument panel including areas around windshield and rear window headers, roof and side-rail structures, and shoulder-belt turning loops were specifically designed to limit head impact force.

The all new Cherokee’s round halogen headlamps still hold true to their original design flanking the equally iconic seven-slot grille for that genuine Jeep brand expression. The standard automatic headlamps ensure other drivers see as you as soon as you start your vehicle. High performance fog lamps add another level of safety in inclement weather.

The all new Cherokee isn’t easily stolen. Cue the standard Sentry-Key^® antitheft deterrent system, which has a small transmitter chip embedded in the key or key fob – a feature that makes it virtually impossible to drive the vehicle without a valid key. Thatcham Category 1 security alarm with immobiliser also comes standard.
