Between them Dan, Gee and Rachel Atherton boast six World Championships and 36 World Cup wins coming into the 2016 season and are viewed as the most successful siblings in international sport – and they’re hungry for more.
Gee is the winner of two World Championships, nine World Cups and six British National Championships. He was also the World Cup overall winner in 2010, Gee has always reacted positively to change and is loving his new Trek Session 9,9. Gee is the one to beat in 2016!
Rachel is the current World Champion and overall UCI World Cup winner and the most awarded British Mountain-biker in the history of the sport! Rachel is a four time World Champion and winner of 27 individual World Cups. Rachel was crowned winner of BT sport Action Woman of the Year 2013, Pinkbike’s Female Gravity Racer of the Year 2013 and 2005 Sunday Times Young Sportswoman of the Year.
Big brother Dan is known as one of the World’s greatest bike handlers. He’s a World Cup and British National Championship winner in 4X, was 2nd in World Cup Downhill 2005 and has world-class Enduro wins at MaxiAvalanche 2012 and Superenduro Series. Dan is known for developing intense courses that test the limits of the professional Mountain bike scene including the renowned Hardline course in Wales.
