The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) electronic system maintains the cruising speed pre-set by the driver and, by detecting any vehicle in front, automatically adjusts the speed of the car while maintaining the safety distance.
Keeping the car's position inside the lane is easier with the Lane Keep Assist system which warns the driver and automatically corrects the vehicle's position.
The maps of the new Uconnect ™ NAV infotainment system and those of TomTom ™ cowork with Traffic Sign Information to adapt the vehicle's cruising speed to the speed limits set.
During the journey, the front camera reads and processes road signs, including speed limits that are displayed on the digital instrument cluster, keeping the driver informed and safe.
The new Jeep® Compass 4xe Plug-in Hybrid is equipped with Driver Drowsy Detection, a technology that monitors the driver's attention level, comparing the current state with that of the last 7 minutes. If your attention falls below the minimum level, a warning light comes on in the instrument panel, accompanied by an audible signal, prompting the driver to take a break.
New Jeep® Compass 4xe Plug-in Hybrid is able to prevent possible collisions with vehicles, obstacles and pedestrians. Using the front camera and radar it can detect the presence of cars, or people, in front of the car and automatically apply the brakes.
