With 6.1 – 5.7 l/100 and 139 - 130 g/km CO2 emissions, the e-Hybrid has up to 13% lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared to the previous Turbo petrol 1.3 150 hp (combined WLTP cycle), while keeping the same level of performance.
Jeep® e-Hybrid powertrain delivers the next step in hybrid mobility. Unlike traditional mild hybrid cars, the Jeep ® e-Hybrid system guarantees a fully hybrid driving experience – the electric engine* takes over during parking maneuvers, coasting phases, and low-speed cruise, ensuring miles of all-electric range.

The new Jeep® Renegade e-Hybrid boasts the e-Coasting system, which recharges the battery as you drive. It uses the vehicle’s kinetic energy as negative torque to recharge the battery while decelerating.
The Jeep® Renegade e-Hybrid’s battery is also automatically topped up through regenerative braking, which recovers kinetic energy as you slow down and stop, to keep you charged for longer.
e-Boosting technology is a distinctive trait of the Jeep® e-Hybrid powertrain. It allows the engine to boost both power and torque by up to 15 kW (20 hp) and 55 Nm (135 Nm at gearbox input level)*. Electric power also optimises the petrol engine’s operating point, maximising its efficiency.

A brand new 7-speed, double clutch, automatic gearbox makes its debut with the Jeep® Renegade e-Hybrid. With shorter gear ratios – compared to a traditional 6-speed gearbox – the car accelerates more quickly. The seventh gear is also specifically engineered to further curb emissions and consumption levels during highway cruising, when the petrol engine is running at low rpms.
