The Jeep® Renegade e-Hybrid presents a wide range of active and passive safety systems to support you while you drive.
The front camera, front radar and range of sensors around the vehicle help you to keep an eye on the road ahead.
This technology uses the front camera to recognize speed limits and corresponding road signs, while providing the driver with real-time notification and directions directly on the digital dashboard. TSR comes as standard on every Renegade.
The speed limit recognition is exclusively based on information gathered by the front camera. It doesn’t require the support of maps or GPS.
As soon as the TSR is activated, the ISA kicks in to adapt the speed of your Renegade to current speed limits while leaving you in full control of the gas and brake pedals. This feature is standard throughout the Renegade range.

If you’re performing maneuvers with limited visibility, the new Jeep® Renegade e-Hybrid can rely on Rear Cross Path Detection. It alerts the driver– both visually and audibly – of any potential impact with incoming vehicles or pedestrians.
